Church Staff

Pastors Vern & Marjorie Pruitt have been the Senior Pastor of New Horizon Church of God since August of 2004. Pastor Vern was called to preach the gospel at the age of 15! A calling he says he DOES NOT regret! They have two daughters- Pam who is the oldest, helps them with the everyday life activities of the church. Pam also serves as a Substitute Office Secretary and a Substitute Sunday School/Children’s Church Teacher when needed. Their youngest daughter Cynthia lives in the State of Washington with her husband. They have 3 children and 3 grandchildren.

Pam Pruitt is serving as our Teen Teacher for right now. She also fills in for the Childrens Sunday School Teachers when they are not available to teach. She is the church secretary, she takes care of our website, she takes care of our online service, social media sites, etc. Pam helps us out in a lot of different ways. And by the looks of it, she likes to eat too!!!
